This is based on a childhood experience I had when playing with some paint my father left lying around when going on break.

Uh-Oh Sam!
Ha ha. I had to clean marker off of my two year old this morning.

I have no recollection of doing this specifically, but it seems strangely familiar somehow. :)

I am sure that playing with paint was a common thing for kids.

Yeah. I do remember considerable concern and stern commands from adults whenever I was near a paint tin. XD

Ha ha. Paint from the tin is not like the paint from the tubes. It's thick and sticky almost like glue so it clumps and such.

Indeed! :) I think the problem was compounded by some of my paints coming in tiny tins, but it's hard to remember back that far. I don't remember any tubes of paint, only glue, toothpaste, and a particular brand of tomato sauce. (It was good.) I think some paints were powders which you had to mix with water, but I'm not sure now. The first paints I clearly remember were dayglo paints in squeezy plastic bottles about the size of jam jars. I thought they were strange because they were ready to use straight out of the bottle.
