When I was a girl, my mother used to garden a lot and our property was very beautiful thanks to it. She also made it clear that the flowers in our (or anyone else's) garden weren't for picking. Unfortunately, not everyone teaches their kids this.

i didnt have access to a nice garden but I did have tons of johnny jump-ups (tiny violet flowers) in my yard, I was always bringing them in for momma. We also had some wild daffodils that I picked for her sometimes

Aww so cute, this for some reason reminds me of when I would rub danylions on my arms and legs to make them yellow.
