My two birds had distinct musical preferences (although with a lot of overlap). Ozzy, my conure, loved instrumental heavy metal with wailing guitars. Midori, my blue front amazon, prefers 80's synthpop especially with female vocalists.

He tends to try to sing with upbeat pop tunes for the most part, but he seems to enjoy all types of music. I remember, shortly after I adopted him, playing some ambient or classical music that went on for a while, then it switched to Boozoo Bajou. He shouted, "All RIGHT!" and started dancing. When he sings he doesn't get the music and lyrics right, but he keeps on key. The words sound like "Oh woah woah woah, oopay oopay oopay!". Sometimes I sing along with him.
